When I dropped X off at school this am I said good bye and have a good day and that I will be ok and he will be ok. His response "don't get lost". I said I promise I won't get lost and gave him another hug. He then continued "Don't get in danger". I promised again that I will be ok and no danger for mommy!
I am glad he is now voicing what's in his head at least a little more, but hearing all his fears and what his little body is keeping inside of him is very hard for a mommy to bear.
